DIY Your Website Like a Pro! is a 3-hour, hands-on workshop where you will learn how to use a free or paid Bootstrap template to create a modern, professional, budget-friendly website with absolutely no coding skills.
You're going to do all of this without any previous coding experience
In addition to teaching you how to customize and install your template, we'll show you how to add your own design aesthetic with cascading style sheets (CSS), boost your website speed, and create landing pages.

The goal of this live, hands-on workshop is to give you the tools you need to use simple website templates to build and manage your website with confidence.
We typically offer this workshop twice a year, with a choice of two sessions: weekday evening or Saturday morning.
To provide an optimal learning experience, we are limiting attendance to ten people at each session.
The cost is $75 for Business Guild members and $150 for non-members.

Maximum of 10 people for each session.
Prerequisites: In order to complete the workshop within the three hour session, you will need to prepare a few things prior to attending.
- Gather all custom content, including business and contact information, graphics (logo, bio pic, etc.). Tip: It's much easier to copy & paste than it is to remember what you wanted to say. Do not use a word processing program like MS Word, the file should be a basic text document saved as filename.txt.
- Choose and download a free template from BootstrapMade.com
- Sign up for a web hosting account if you do not already have one and create a text document with your login credentials. (If you need help finding the right hosting platform, please visit websitesetup.org for a breakdown of the best hosting providers for 2023. We prefer InMotion Hosting, but almost any account with cPanel access will do.)
- You will also need a computer with internet access to take part in workshop activities.
